19. "STUBBY" UNIVERSAL SURFACE GAUGES
These are of most rigid and durable construction and are acurately ground. Supplied with both steel base and cast iron base.
As understood from name itself steel base is made of fine quality steel accurately ground all over. C.I. base is made of cast iron and painted for attractive finish. However, the bottom is accurately ground.
Vee groove enables them to be sed on both flat and round surfaces. Two frictionally held pins are provided in the base for linear work. Spindle and scriber can be set at any angle.
